Lands South is seeking experienced Equipment Operators to support our commercial sitework and stormwater projects. You’ll operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently while working alongside our field crews to complete grading, excavation, and utility-related tasks. This role is essential to delivering the high-quality workmanship our clients expect.

• Operate equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and dozers for commercial sitework 
• Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, and material handling tasks
•  Assist with stormwater system installations and other site development activities 
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance (fluids, grease, safety checks) 
• Work closely with supervisors and ground crew to complete tasks safely and efficiently 
• Follow jobsite plans, grade stakes, and instructions with accuracy 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
   

•  Proven experience operating heavy equipment on commercial or civil sitework projects 
• Strong understanding of safe operation practices and jobsite safety 
• Ability to read grade stakes or work with guidance from a supervisor 
• Reliable transportation to jobsites across Central GA and Greater Atlanta 
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions 
• Strong work ethic, teamwork mindset, and attention to detail
• Strong understanding and ability to read plans is a plus but not required 
• CDL is a plus but not required

Lands South is looking for reliable, hard-working General Laborers to join our field crew. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and essential to our commercial sitework operations. You’ll work outdoors on a variety of projects, supporting tasks that keep our jobs running safely and efficiently.

• Assist with daily site preparation and cleanup 
• Support stormwater system installations, grading, and other sitework tasks 
• Load, unload, and move materials around active jobsites 
• Use hand tools and small equipment as needed 
• Follow directions from the site supervisor and work closely with the field crew 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area 
• Follow all safety guidelines and company standards
   

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn 
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions 
• Dependable transportation to jobsites across Central GA and Greater Atlanta 
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day 
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team 
• Previous sitework or construction experience is helpful but not required
